Bayview Hotel - Plettenberg Bay

Loved the spacious family room, but the shower flooded every time we used it.

Well priced and pretty standard hotel in a good area just next door to the centre, and the beach and other local activities. A nice size and newly remodelled rooms with a sofa bed...

An Unexpected Culinary Delight

The hotel staff was extraordinarily cute, and the views from the room were amazing. Enjoyed delicious meals at Adi's Kitchen. Their eggs benedict and fish & chips were highlights!

The steep hill to the beach made for a challenging return after a sun-soaked day. While clean, some amenities felt more in line with a three-star rating than the hotel's premium status.

Family-friendly atmosphere with a great kids' play area provided fun for the little ones. Proximity to the main road offered easy access to multiple shopping options and activities.

The breakfast menu left much to be desired, with only filter coffee included and the hot food selection quite limited. A missing air conditioning controller and no hair dryer upon arrival took time to resolve, although they were delivered promptly. Car parking was convenient but could use clearer signage for newcomers, and the mattress in the bed was wobbly were good.

We had an awesome stay in the classic room, enjoying fine views and a fantastic seafood restaurant downstairs.

The central location made it easy to step out and grab meals or drinks without hassle. The room was big and bright, really created a nice atmosphere for our stay.

It wasn't exactly cheap but still reasonable for what we got.

the shower in our room could have been better. but the view of the ocean was stunning, the dining options were delicious, and the staff made us feel welcoming.

The penthouse we stayed in was huge and offered amazing views of the bay. The outdoor rooftop with lounge chairs and a barbecue was perfect for relaxation. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service.

While the stay was fantastic, the parking area could use better signage for first-time visitors.

The Beautiful Room was super spacious and clean! Loved the bathroom size and seating area. Breakfast was a treat-lots of fruit and hot options. Staff were really helpful, especially when renting an umbrella. Only downside was that the shower could have been a bit better, but it didn't ruin the stay.

Comfortable room, good shower, the spacious shower made our stay enjoyable, and the outdoor dining area enhanced our experience with beautiful views and easy access to a beach that is just a short stroll away.
